Title Change of Mind(3)
Preacher Pastor Emeritus Jaerock Lee Bible Proverbs4:23 Date 2003.11.23
Let me take the last exemplary person cursed after changing his mind.

He is Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve disciples of Jesus our Lord.
Judas became a disciple of Jesus for his own benefit, but betrayed Jesus and sold Him to wicked people when following Jesus was no more beneficial to him. He betrayed his teacher Jesus although Jesus taught him only truth and goodness, and loved him to the last moment.
The Bible reveals in detail in what kind of death Iscariot Judas came to be put. It is said in Acts 1: 18, (With the reward he got for his wickedness, Judas bought a field; there he fell headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines spilled out.

God let this kind of death written in detail in the Bible because He wished how detestable it is to change one's mind, forsake the grace of God and betray Him.
So, I hope you keep this fact in your mind and have the habit of not changing the slightest determination. That's because you can change your mind in an important and big work if you begin to change your mind in the least thing.

However, the way it is said in John 8: 32, "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free," you can enjoy the freedom and other chances as you accomplish truth in your heart.
If you act according the principle of freedom and chance of changing mind although you have not accomplished the truth in your heart, it may bring about wrong results. I hope you remember this fact.

Conclusion
It is said in , " Surely you desire truth in the inner parts; you teach me wisdom in the inmost place. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Our heavenly Father expects us to have true heart. For example, someone has truthful and unchanging heart even though he looks a little poor at wisdom and understanding and has a few discords against others because of his the very upright character. In this case, the Father chooses the man and refines him for the tool of His Kingdom.
God's work cannot be carried out through fleshly people who have heart changing according to each situation, because it belongs to the spiritual realm.

Therefore, I bless in the name of the Lord that you long to have resolute and unchanging heart like the psalmist and be ready as a precious tool for the kingdom of God in the last days.
